Uniview MW-LC22IS2 22" 100hz FHD IPS Monitor

Uniview MW-LC22IS2: The New Standard for Budget Display Perfection

Experience the Smoothness of 100Hz and the Brilliance of IPS – Exclusively at Unix Network, Jashore

In the rapidly evolving world of computer peripherals, the monitor is often the most critical yet overlooked component of a setup. It is the window through which you interact with your digital world—whether you are drafting a business proposal, attending an online class, battling in a virtual arena, or monitoring security footage. For years, budget-conscious consumers in Bangladesh were forced to choose between affordability and performance, often settling for washed-out colors on TN panels or the standard, stuttery 60Hz refresh rates.

Enter the Uniview MW-LC22IS2 22-inch FHD Monitor.

This isn't just another display; it is a statement that premium features belong in every home and office. By combining a professional-grade IPS panel with a fluid 100Hz refresh rate, built-in audio, and a sleek, bezel-less design, Uniview has created a product that redefines value. At Unix Network, Jashore’s premier destination for IT solutions, we are proud to bring this game-changing monitor to our local customers, offering a visual upgrade that you have to see to believe.

Below is an exhaustive breakdown of why the Uniview MW-LC22IS2 is the smartest investment for your desktop setup this year.

1. The 100Hz Revolution: Why Refresh Rate Matters

For decades, the standard refresh rate for non-gaming monitors was stuck at 60Hz. This means the screen updated the image 60 times per second. While functional, 60Hz can feel "jerky" or blurry, especially during fast motion. The Uniview MW-LC22IS2 shatters this ceiling with a 100Hz Refresh Rate.

What Does 100Hz Feel Like?

Going from 60Hz to 100Hz is a transformative experience. It offers a 66% increase in the number of frames displayed every second.

• Silky Smooth Desktop Navigation: Even the simple act of moving your mouse cursor across the screen feels incredibly responsive. Windows drag without trailing ghost images, and scrolling through long Excel sheets, Facebook feeds, or PDFs becomes a fluid, seamless motion.

• Reduced Motion Blur: In video content and games, fast-moving objects remain sharp. If you watch action movies or sports, the 100Hz refresh rate ensures that the ball or the car chase looks crisp, not like a blurry smear.

• Eye Comfort: Higher refresh rates are inherently easier on the eyes. The smoother transition between frames means your brain has to work less to "fill in the gaps," leading to significantly reduced eye strain during long work sessions.

Is It Good for Gaming?

Absolutely. While hardcore esports pros might aim for 144Hz or higher, 100Hz is the "sweet spot" for casual and budget gamers. If you play titles like League of Legends,Dota 2,Minecraft, or GTA V, the jump to 100Hz provides a tangible competitive advantage. You see enemies sooner, your aim tracks smoother, and the overall immersion is vastly superior to a standard office monitor. For the budget gamer in Jashore, this monitor offers high-performance gaming specs without the "gaming tax" price tag.

2. Visual Brilliance: The Power of IPS Technology

Not all screens are created equal. Many budget monitors use TN (Twisted Nematic) or VA (Vertical Alignment) panels, which often suffer from color shifting—meaning the image looks different depending on where you sit. The Uniview MW-LC22IS2 utilizes superior IPS (In-Plane Switching) technology.

True-to-Life Colors

IPS panels are the gold standard for color accuracy. With support for 16.7 million colors, this monitor reproduces images with stunning fidelity. Reds are vibrant, blues are deep, and greens are lush.

• For Creatives: If you are a graphic designer, photographer, or video editor using tools like Photoshop or Premiere Pro, you need to know that the colors you see on screen are the colors that will appear in the final product. This IPS panel ensures that accuracy.

• For Entertainment: Streaming Netflix or YouTube in 1080p Full HD is a joy. The contrast ratio of 1000:1 ensures that blacks are deep (not gray) and whites are bright, providing a dynamic range that makes movies pop.

178° Wide Viewing Angles

One of the defining features of this IPS display is its viewing angles. You can view the screen from virtually anywhere—from the side, from above, or from below—up to 178 degrees, without the colors washing out or inverting.

• Collaboration Made Easy: If you are showing a colleague a chart at your desk or watching a movie with friends, everyone gets the same perfect picture quality, no matter where they are sitting.

3. Perfect Form Factor: 22-Inch Full HD Design

In the context of typical Bangladeshi desk setups—whether in a university dorm, a compact home office, or a crowded shop counter—space is often at a premium. A 27-inch or 32-inch monitor can be overwhelming and take up too much room.

The "Just Right" Size

The 22-inch (21.45" diagonal) size is widely considered the perfect balance for general use. It is large enough to have two windows open side-by-side (like a Word document and a web browser) but compact enough to fit on small computer tables common in Jashore homes.

Pixel Density Advantage

At this size, the 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution looks incredibly sharp. Pixel density (measured in PPI) is higher on a 22-inch 1080p screen than on a 27-inch 1080p screen. This means text looks crisper, icons look sharper, and images have more detail because the pixels are packed closer together. For reading text and writing code, this sharpness is crucial for preventing eye fatigue.

4. Built-in Audio: A Clutter-Free Solution

One of the standout features of the Uniview MW-LC22IS2 is the inclusion of Dual 1W Built-in Speakers. In the budget monitor segment, speakers are rarely included. Usually, users have to buy separate, bulky external speakers that take up desk space and require extra power cables, or wear headphones all day.

While these built-in speakers won't replace a surround sound system for a home theater, they are incredibly convenient for daily tasks:

• Notification Sounds: Hear email pings and system alerts clearly.

• Video Calls: Perfect for Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet calls without needing a headset.

• Casual Media: Watch a quick YouTube tutorial or listen to background music while you work.

By eliminating the need for external speakers, this monitor saves you money (roughly 500-1000 BDT) and keeps your desk clean and minimalist—a huge plus for modern setups.

5. Connectivity: Bridging the Old and New

At Unix Network, we serve a diverse range of customers. Some have brand-new gaming rigs with the latest RTX graphics cards, while others are upgrading older office PCs that have served them faithfully for years. The Uniview MW-LC22IS2 is designed to support everyone.

• HDMI Port: Ideally suited for modern desktops, laptops, gaming consoles (like PS4/PS5 or Xbox), and TV boxes. This digital connection carries both high-definition video and audio signals in a single cable.

• VGA Port: This is a crucial feature for the Bangladeshi market. Many legacy systems, older motherboards, and specifically CCTV DVRs/NVRs still rely on VGA connections. By including a VGA port, Uniview ensures that you don't need to buy expensive active adapters or converters to use this monitor with older hardware.

6. Uniview’s Heritage: Built for Security & Durability

It is important to understand the brand behind the product.Uniview (UNV) is a global giant in the video surveillance industry. They are one of the world's largest manufacturers of security cameras and NVRs.

Why does this matter for a desktop monitor? Surveillance equipment is designed to run 24/7/365. Uniview applies the same engineering philosophy to their desktop monitors.

• Component Longevity: The capacitors and internal power delivery systems are built to withstand extended usage periods. If you are a shop owner in Jashore keeping your PC on all day for billing, or a student pulling all-nighters, this monitor is engineered to handle continuous operation without overheating or screen burn-in.

• Reliability: Unlike generic "no-name" brands that might flood the market, a Uniview monitor is a piece of industrial-grade equipment adapted for consumer use.

7. Eye Care Technology: Health First

Digital eye strain is a growing health concern. Symptoms include headaches, blurred vision, and dry eyes. The Uniview MW-LC22IS2 actively combats this with integrated health-focused technologies.

Low Blue Light Mode

Blue light, which is part of the visible light spectrum, penetrates deep into the eye and can disrupt sleep cycles and cause retinal damage over time. This monitor features a dedicated Low Blue Light setting that shifts the color temperature to a warmer spectrum. This is ideal for working late at night or reading long documents, as it mimics the comfort of reading paper.

Flicker-Free Technology

Traditional monitors control brightness by rapidly flickering the backlight on and off—too fast for the naked eye to see, but slow enough for the eye muscles to react to, causing fatigue. This Uniview monitor uses a constant current to illuminate the screen, providing a steady, flicker-free image that protects your vision during marathon gaming or study sessions.

8. Mechanical Design & Ergonomics

The physical design of the monitor is as impressive as its screen. Uniview has adopted a 3-Sided Frameless (Bezel-less) Design. The top and side bezels are ultra-thin, which serves two purposes:

1. Immersive Experience: The picture seems to float in the air, with no thick plastic borders to distract you.

2. Multi-Monitor Setups: If you buy two of these monitors from Unix Network to place side-by-side, the gap between the screens is minimal, creating a near-seamless panoramic view.

VESA Wall Mount Compatibility

The stand provided is sturdy and tilt-adjustable, but if you want to clear your desk completely, the monitor supports the VESA 75mm x 75mm standard. You can easily mount this to a wall bracket or a flexible monitor arm. This is particularly useful for:

• CCTV Stations: Mounting the screen high on a wall for visibility.

• Standing Desks: Using an arm to adjust height for ergonomics.

• Small Shops: Saving counter space for products and registers.

9. Specific Use Cases in Jashore
